Our studio

from the spoon to the city

Rebuscini + Cantoni Architetture was established in 1987 first as an Associate Firm and then as an Engineering Company.

Our motto is ‘from the spoon to the city’, concept coined by Ernesto Rogers in 1952 in the Athens Charter, the urban planning manifesto to which modern architecture referred. In this expression Rogers effectively summarized an architect's approach to the theme of total creativity: the same commitment and expertise in the design of a spoon, a chair, a lamp and, at the same time, a skyscraper.

According to these principles, we approach architecture in its various aspects and scales, considering the discipline in its totality, from urban planning, industrial and residential constructions to interior design, furnishings, and the design of the individual product.

Our core interest revolves around designing sustainable, efficient, and flexible buildings through the use of innovative and performing materials and construction techniques aiming at reducing construction times, deploying renewable energies, and adapting to the challenges of the future.

The team consists of an array of professionals working across different fields to offer the best solutions for our clients, with a particular eye on site management.

The firm, co-founded with architect Felice Rebuscini, professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan, who passed away in 2008, is now coordinated by architects Carla Cantoni e Niccolò Rebuscini.
